At ROI Properties, people come first. As a Cape Town-based business, we support MES, a nonprofit that's been transforming lives in South Africa's inner cities since 1986. MES helps individuals move from dependency to dignity through care, rehabilitation, and development.

Why MES?

MES has been serving communities for nearly four decades, with teams active in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Gqeberha and Kempton Park. Their approach is practical and people-centred, helping individuals rebuild their lives through shelter, job rehabilitation and development opportunities.

  • Helping People Right Where They Are: Providing immediate support like food, safety, hygiene, and basic care.
  • Getting Ready For Change: Help individuals stabilise emotionally, mentally, and physically so they are ready to make positive life changes.
  • Preparing For School or Work: Equip people with the skills, education, and experience they need to succeed at school, work, or further opportunities.
  • Living Independently: Support individuals to move into stable housing, employment, and independent living as confident, contributing members of society.
